Background:
In July 2020, I graduated from the University of Bristol with a First in English & Film. I am a playwright and have had my work staged many times, and am an avid debater. At A level, I received an A* equivalent in English as well as an A* in French and an A in Theatre studies. Having undertaken various informal tutoring and mentoring roles in the past, and have found that the most important element in developing a student’s skills of writing and analysis in English Literature is fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the text.
