How do I get paid?

Invoices can be generated by accessing the Invoice tab of the tutor Dashboard. All invoices will be paid on the following Friday. If you submit your invoice on a Friday, you will be paid the following Friday and not on the same day. Please ensure that your address and bank account details are up to date on your tutor profile when you generate an invoice, otherwise payment cannot be made.

To guarantee secure payments, please ensure that all tasks and lessons organised through CampusMate are paid for through our platform before they are carried out.

How does the Online Classroom work?

Once you have an approved scheduled lesson, go to your Classroom Page, select ‘Lesson’ on the left and click ‘Start Lesson’.

Before the lesson begins ensure that you have headphones and a microphone ready, and that you give CampusMate permission to access your microphone and webcam. You can test out the online Classroom by using our Demo ClassRoom.

What if I am late?

If you are less than 15 minutes late, that is fine and you can just add the time on to the end of the lesson.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will need to teach this lesson again.

What if I need to cancel?

If the lesson is more than 24 hours away, then we consider this to be re-scheduling and it is acceptable as long as it doesn't happen too often. If the class is cancelled within 24 hours of its start time, this will be recorded and our quality assurance team will be notified. Tutors may have their accounts suspended if they accumulate a number of cancelled lessons.
